Tan Peluski stocking a little library with Narcos books

The candidate stocks a neighborhood library with educational literature about the drug trade.

Oh seriously a reading nation is a powerful nation and a nation that understands the drug trade is a nation that won't get caught up in it.... Really now you open that little wooden box and there's books about Pablo Escobar, the Cali Cartel, El Chapo, all the educational stuff from that Netflix show....

Seriously now I watched all four seasons of Narcos and let me tell you I learned MORE about drugs from that show than I ever did from any D.A.R.E. program.... Really now those little cops came to my school and said "drugs are bad" but they never explained the ECONOMICS, the DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS, the rise and fall of entire empires built on cocaine.... That's EDUCATION, my friend....

"I learned more about drugs from Narcos than I ever did from any D.A.R.E. program."

Really now those little free libraries are everywhere already, just sitting there, looking cute, full of books nobody's reading.... Oh seriously I walked past one the other day and it had three copies of "Eat Pray Love" and a water damaged Tom Clancy novel and I thought "This could be saving lives through EDUCATION but instead it's just holding Elizabeth Gilbert hostage in a tiny wooden box...."

Oh really now some people say "Tan how does reading about drug lords save lives" and I say "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER".... Seriously now you read about what happened to Pablo, what happened to the Ochoa brothers, what happened to everyone who got mixed up in that life, and suddenly you think "maybe I won't do that".... That's called LEARNING FROM HISTORY and also it's a really good show, Wagner Moura deserved more awards for that performance....
